I've had two weeks off work and it's been nice to not have to listen for my phone and just have not to be 'on' all.the.time. I've been quiet lately.

My mom and brother are here to take care of some business for my dad, including cleaning out his house.  He's a hoarder, and it's a big mess.  Jack and my brother have spent three days hauling stuff out of the yard and house, and have only made it into the 2nd room.  Two giant Loras bins, several truck loads of wood and metal ( Read more... )

Last week, some players from the Saskatchewan Roughriders came to our town to play a recreational hockey game against some of our local players.  They had a silent auction, banquet, and autographs as well.  My mom, being a devoted Rider fan, changed her plane ticket to delay her flight home by two days so that she could attend these events.   I ( Read more... )
